Los Arcos Queretaro Mexico

Queretaro Mexico  is a charming colonial city set in the north central highlands which I had the pleasure of visiting recently. The dominant feature is a five mile long  series of arches that carried an aqueduct to provide water to the city. The arches were built between 1726 and 1735 and stretched from miles outside the city to El Centro, the central business district.  Since the 1950s the city has extended outward and the arches are now all in built  up areas.

I will post more photos from my visit after I process them.
