2016 as I saw it


This year I continued traveling, to Nicaragua, Mexico and Niagara Falls. My focus was on the people of those places and I began honing my skills as a natural light portrait photographer.

I also began photographing pro bono for human rights and humanitarian non-profit organizations. I did a fair amount of work for Habitat for Humanity in New York City, photographing corporate and faith based volunteer groups who are rebuilding houses.

My favorite photo shoot of the year was taking portraits of the residents of Bright Side Manor, a senior housing complex in Teaneck New Jersey.

I also photographed for Free to Breathe, a support organization for sufferers and survivors of lung cancer, and The American Cancer Fund, a research and support organization for cancer
