Peña de Bernal

Peña de Bernal, located near Queretaro, Mexico, is according to some estimates the second largest monolith in the world after Mt. Augustus in Western Australia, and at 350 meters (1150 ft) is  the  third tallest after Mount Augustus and the Rock of Gibraltar.

It is a magical, mystical place.  If you look closely you can see the two serpents  sunning on top of the rock and a lizard sleeping on their backs.

These creatures protect the town below, a sleepy village designated by Mexico as a Pueblo Magico.
