2013 as I saw it

four amigas

My year included  travel to the Yucatan to see the beauty of flamingos in their breeding grounds; the devastation of Hurricane Sandy; cherry blossom in Branch Brook Park;  my son’s wedding; 17 year cicadas, although there is only one photo in the collection; protesting the failure of the US to close the prison at Guantanamo; celebration of the US Supreme Court decisions permitting same sex couples to marry; under the Tuscan Sun, Mexico and its children; and the Day of the Dead in the Mexico central highlands. This is some of what my camera lens saw:
