2017 As I Saw It

Not much traveling last year. I spent most of 2017 photographing events for human rights and humanitarian organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Covenant House, Muslim Community Network, Free to Breathe, a lung cancer prevention and awareness organization, MOCEANS, a non-residential program that provides services for disabled people, Covenant House in Newark, NJ and Care for Homeless in New York City, both of which provide residences for formerly homeless youth, New York Foundling Hospital, and others. I went to southern Utah where I photographed some of the monuments that the U.S. Government wants to reduce in size or decertify. And I took pictures in Washington Square Park in New York City, one of my favorite places in the world. Below are some of my favorites from the year. Others are in the slide show that follows:
